Grammy winning keyboardist Gregg Karukas has 12 solo CDs to his name. He also has a list of collaborations that reads like a who’s who of the music industry. Gregg has been music director to Boney James and Dave Koz and has many smooth jazz number ones to his name. He was also one of the founding members of The Rippingtons.
Playing with him will be Mark Jaimes on guitar, Miki Ramon on sax and Westley Joseph on drums. Bass player to be announced.

Jazmin Ghent-Jackson, Ph.D., is an award-winning international jazz saxophonist and educator, rapidly becoming a leading voice in contemporary jazz, R&B and gospel. Her rise began in 2014 at the Smooth Jazz Cruise’s Show Your Talent competition. Ghent’s third album, The Story of Jazz, earned her a prestigious NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album in 2019, and her fourth, Forever Jaz, garnered another nomination in 2022. She has also been recognized by the Smooth Jazz Network, earning Best Artist of the Year nominations and winning Best New Smooth Jazz Artist in 2017.

Pieces of a dream emerged out of Philadelphia’s music scene in 1976. The group based their name on “Pieces of Dreams,” a cover tune by Stanley Turrentine that the group performed. After quickly becoming popular around Philadelphia, the trio landed a spot as the house band for a local television show called City Lights.

His groundbreaking Black Radio series has featured collaborations with Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Mos Def, while his credits include Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly and work with Common, Mac Miller and Andra Day. An Emmy and Peabody Award winner, Robert continues to redefine the possibilities of modern jazz.

Chieli Minucci

Leader and founding member of Grammy-nominated Special EFX, Chieli Minucci has a distinctive guitar style that has led to collaborations and appearances with the likes of Lionel Richie, Jennifer Lopez & Celine Dion, as well as smooth jazz favourites Kirk Whalum, Norman Brown, Rick Braun, and many more. He has 3 Emmys for his work in TV and film, and although his former bandmate and co-founder George Jinda is sadly no longer with us, Chieli continues to keep the Special EFX flag flying. He returns to PizzaExpress Live Soho after an 8-year hiatus.

Vanessa Williams is an American singer, actress, model, producer and dancer.
Vanessa Williams enjoys a successful career as a singer and actress. In 1988, she released her debut studio album The Right Stuff, whose title single saw moderate success as well as “Dreamin’”, which peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the United States in 1989. With her second and third studio albums, The Comfort Zone (1991) and The Sweetest Days (1994), she saw continued commercial success and received multiple Grammy Award nominations, including her number-one single and signature song, “Save the Best for Last”, which she performed live at the 1993 Grammy Awards ceremonies. Her later studio albums include Everlasting Love (2005), The Real Thing (2009), and Survivor (2024).
